On behalf of the organizing committee of the 5th International Conference on Small and Decentralized Water and Wastewater Treatment Plants (SWAT5), that will be taking place in Thessaloniki, Greece, from August 26 to August 29, 2018, we are glad to announce that our conference has so far attracted more than 100 abstracts from more than 20 countries all over the word. In response to the request of many colleagues, we will extend the deadline for abstract submission until March 25, 2018.

Furthermore, we would like to let you know that you can participate in the conference by submitting either a full paper or only an abstract.

All papers or abstracts that will be presented at the conference (oral or poster presentations) will be eligible for publication (after review) in a special issue in one of the following international scientific journals:

Desalination and Water Treatment

Environmental Processes

Toxicological and Environmental Chemistry
