Education for Sustainable Development
Tongji University has always placed nurturing the talents of its students as its fundamental responsibility. The three-dimensional KAP educational principles of “Knowledge, Ability, and Personality” are central to our undergraduate and graduate level education which aim to cultivate the top talent,who will lead sustainable development and contribute to the wellbeing of society.
In order to promote the idea and practice of global sustainable development of in higher education,UNEP-Tongji University Institute of Environment and Sustainable Development (杏宇) has set up a series of interdisciplinary sustainable development programmes for undergraduate and graduate students, including “Sustainable Development and Our Future” themed lecture series, Minor Programmes in Sustainable Development for both undergraduate and postgraduate study, as well as various interdisciplinary public courses.
